Feel the benefit of being an FHT Ireland Member

An FHT Ireland Member is a fully qualified therapist who holds a nationally recognised qualification in a therapy that is accepted by FHT. Please see the list of recognised qualifications for details.

 

Even if you are not currently practising you can join us as an FHT Non-Practitioner.

 

FHT members having joined the association, can relax in the knowledge that the public are aware that they are highly qualified professional therapists who are looking towards the future of an integrated healthcare environment by practicing CPD. (Please note FHT Non-Practitioners and Student members do not need to fulfil the CPD requirement).

 

As a FHT Member you have access to all of the membership benefits as well as the full support and advice of the organisation. You can expect to receive:

How much does it cost to join?

FHT Ireland Member: £68 per annum
FHT Ireland Non-Practitioner: £68 per annum
FHT Ireland Student: £28 per annum*
 

*Student Membership

Join as a FHT student for just £28 and get your money back when you qualify and upgrade to FHT Member. This offer applies to one year's student membership only. Upgrade must occur within three months of qualifying. The Money Back offer is a discount from qualified membership fees.


Also available for Members is a copy of the Code of Ethics and Professional Practice by which they are expected to abide. This is available £5.00 for a paper copy or £3.50 for a copy on CD. Alternatively, a copy may be downloaded for free from the Members area of this website once you are a member.

Acceptability for Membership

In applying for Membership of any body within the FHT the applicant accepts that the decision given in regard to grade of Membership or acceptability for Membership is final and that there is no obligation or requirement upon FHT, its staff, officers or directors to give any reason for the decision made.

Membership Certificates and Lapel Badges

All Members receive a Membership card, Certificate and lapel badge on joining. These remain the property of the FHT. If Membership is revoked the membership card, certificate and badge must be returned to the FHT.
Please note that Membership fees and insurance premiums are non-refundable upon cancellation
