The FHT is pleased to announce that the 2013 Excellence in Practice and Education Awards are now open for entries.
The FHT Excellence in Practice awards were first launched in 2011, to recognise and shine a spotlight on the exemplary work being carried out by FHT members, and inspire other therapists.
As these awards proved a huge success, the portfolio was quickly expanded the following year to include five FHT Excellence in Education awards, which were duly awarded to lecturers and students also setting the bar in the field of therapy training.
We are more than confident that for each member that wins an FHT award, there are literally hundreds of other ‘unsung heroes’ in our membership, who are helping to support the health and well-being of the nation in their day-to day-work, or guiding and encouraging the next generation of therapists. If you are one of our more modest members, please consider entering this year (or if you were shortlisted in previous years, please consider entering again!). Awards aren’t simply about receiving a nice trophy – they are a fantastic way for the FHT to highlight to the industry, and beyond, the many diverse ways in which our members are using their therapeutic skills to enhance the lives of others.
