Course description: An Introduction to Reflexology is a workshop that is ideal for anyone who has an interest in Reflexology and wants to learn more about this ancient holistic therapy. No previous experience is needed and you will be able to use the techniques you learn on family and friends.
• Learn how reflexes in the feet represent anatomical areas on the body and how to work on these reflexes for relaxation and wellbeing.
• Learn about the history and theories behind Reflexology and how you can use it on yourself and others.
• You will learn an introductory routine including how to warm up the feet, zone therapy, techniques including the caterpillar walk, rotations and hooking in technique and a massage and energy work to finish.
This taster workshop is also an ideal introduction for anyone who may be interested in studying Reflexology as a qualification or simply as a fun informative workshop for your own interest.

You will need to bring: Purple Turtle Academy provide equipment, couches, linen and a training manual. You just need to bring along a bath towel.

Having been in the therapy industry as a therapist, tutor and employer for over 15 years, Amy has developed her skills and teaches therapists how to integrate new treatments into their business and working practices. She designs her courses with the clients and therapist's well-being in mind as well as providing amazing treatments for client's individual needs. She is passionate about therapies and loves all aspects of her work which comes across in her teaching. Amy believes in raising the standards in the industry and making sure these are upheld from training to treatment. Amy has two successful wellbeing centres in Brighton and Hove and travels the world training on site at health centres, salons, spas and wellbeing centres.
