Back in 1986 John was introduced to Japanese medicine through his martial arts contacts; he went on to study Musculo-Skeletal systems in the UK before joining a course of reflexology, massage, aromatherapy and shiatsu.
This led to John wanting more from a diagnostic and focused results driven treatment perspective leading him to visit Japan, China and Thailand training in acupuncture, Tuina, Qi Gung therapy, Thai massage and Amatsu medicine.
John started his own college in 1997 providing Traditional Chinese Medicine courses in both Beijing hospitals and in the UK. He went on to design his own unique courses that integrated both western knowledge and research with eastern theories and techniques from his wide experience leading to him winning ‘Best complementary medicine training provider, best sports health & fitness training provider, and overall winner Outstanding training provider 2006’ from the health & beauty training show.
John has a wealth of clinical experience working on the general public with a variety of common problems, professional football teams & athletes on performance enhancement and accelerated injury recovery and with major corporate organisations providing health & wellbeing seminars, Musculo-Skeletal Screening and treatments.
John is now well known in the spa market where his KORE Therapy training courses are designed to enhance therapists knowledge providing spas with consultant led results driven therapy and Musculo-Skeletal screening for gym members.
As an international speaker, John has provided presentations & demonstrations at large spa conferences in both Asia and the UK.
