Having joined the association as an FHT Member, you can relax in the knowledge that the public are aware that you are highly qualified professional therapist who is looking to continually update your knowledge and skills by completing Continuing Professional Development (CPD) looking towards the future of an integrated healthcare environment by practicing CPD. (Please note FHT Associates and FHT Non-Practitioners do not need to fulfil an annual CPD requirement). 

FHT members are also expected to abide by the FHT’s Code of Ethics of Professional Practice that enables members to have a common guide to excellence in professional conduct and practice, and to meet and even exceed the expectations of clients.

Can I get insurance?

As a member of the FHT you will be expected to hold suitable insurance to practice. The FHT, in addition to membership, offers insurance products tailor-made for therapists i.e medical malpractice, public and product liability insurance.

How much does it cost to join? 

FHT Affiliate:

Some qualifications will give you great skills but may not cover the whole body or every aspect of your chosen therapy to recognised industry standard. If this is the case, then we can welcome you as an FHT Affiliate and you will receive many benefits while also practising and developing your skills. We can offer FHT Affiliates a range of insurance policies i.e. medical malpractice, public and product liability with case study cover.  Please call 023 8062 4350 for further details.
