Topic: Ear Acupuncture

Auricular acupuncture is quick to apply, simple to learn and a fast working microsystem based on acupuncture theory where a single part (the ear) is used to treat the whole body.  It can be used as a stand-alone treatment or adjunct to other complementary therapies, such as reflexology, with powerful effects.

Anna has been practising ear acupuncture since 2004 within settings that include criminal justice, mental health, substance misuse, domiciliary and community settings including radio buses to offer support with numerous physical and psychological conditions via protocol driven treatments. Anna was auricular acupuncture supervisor and workshop trainer for Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust (NHS) for several years and has worked up to Senior Practitioner level as a drug and alcohol worker, as well as setting up comprehensive complementary therapy services within NHS criminal justice drug treatment programmes
