The Rossiter System is a series of techniques based on two concepts: weight and movement. Working with the client on the floor, the therapist (called the ‘Coach’ in the Rossiter framework) uses the foot to anchor the client’s connective tissue in place while the client actively stretches his/her own body to loosen and elongate connective tissue that has tightened as a result of being overworked, stressed or injured. Using the feet helps to protect the Coach’s wrists, hands and back, ensuring comfort while delivering an effective treatment which is called a workout. Relief from pain can be experienced immediately with improved range of motion and flexibility.
