2020-2021 FHT Governing Council election

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of FHT will be held remotely on Wednesday 15 July 2020 at 10.00am.

Existing Governing Council are required to stand for re-election, on rotation, to represent the Councils and the general public – see the links below for further information.

NOTES

Entitlement to Vote and Attend

Only those members registered on the Company’s register of Members at 6pm on 14 July 2020, or if this meeting is adjourned, at 6pm on the day that is two days before the date of the adjourned meeting shall be entitled to vote and attend the Meeting.

Appointment of Proxy

As a member of the Company you are entitled to appoint a proxy to exercise all or any of your rights to attend, speak and vote at the Meeting and you should have received a proxy form with this notice of meeting.  Please read the notes to the proxy form which set out your rights and the procedures in appointing a proxy.  You can only appoint a proxy by following those procedures.

Appointment of a proxy does not preclude you from attending the Meeting and voting in person.  If you have appointed a proxy and attend the Meeting in person, your proxy appointment will automatically be terminated.

Change of proxy Instructions

To change your proxy instructions simply submit a new proxy appointment using the methods set out in the notes to the proxy form.  Note that the cut-off time for receipt of proxy appointments set out in those notes applies to amended instructions.

Any amended proxy appointment received after that time will be disregarded.

Termination of Proxy Appointments

In order to remove a proxy appointment you must either: 

  • send a signed hard copy notice clearly stating your intention to revoke your proxy appointment to the Company Secretary at FHT, 18 Shakespeare Business Centre, Eastleigh, Hampshire SO50 4SR; or
  • by sending an e-mail to awalling@fht.org.uk
