2021 FHT Virtual Congress FAQs

Q) How do I access the event?

A) Once you have booked on to the event you will be sent joining instructions that include a link that you need to click on to log in. This will gain you access to the event on 13 – 14 June.


Q) What is the difference between seminars and webinars?

A) The seminars are pre-recorded videos that have been created by the tutors. These can be accessed at any time over the two-day event. The webinars are live zoom sessions with tutors, which can only be accessed at their allotted time. These sessions will allow for more interaction, giving you the experience of a face-to-face session.


Q) Do I need to book any seminars or webinars?

A) No you do not need to book on to any seminars or webinars. Your ticket gains you access to the whole event. You can watch the seminars at any time across the two days and the webinars at their allotted times. Neither the webinars nor seminars have a maximum capacity so no need to book a space.


Q) I can’t see the times of when the sessions are, how do I find this out?

A) The access anytime sessions are all pre-recorded and can be watched anytime from 00:01 am on 13 June – 11:59 pm on 14 June. The four live webinars are running at specific times, you can find these here.


Q) Will the seminars or webinars be available to watch after the event?

A) The seminars and webinars are only available to watch on 13 – 14 June. It is important to us that attendees are able to plan their days and network via our closed Facebook group, creating a feel of a 'normal' event.


Q) Will the live webinars be recorded and available to watch at different times?

A) Unfortunately, the webinars will not be recorded and will only be available to watch at the time of the sessions.


Q) How can I network with other therapists at the event?

A) Attendees who have booked on to the event will have access to a closed Facebook group where they can network with their fellow therapists.


Q) How do I gain CPD points from this event?

A) You can download the Virtual Congress Journal from your joining instructions email (?) or anywhere on the Virtual Congress event webpages, once you have booked. You will need to fill this out while you are attending the event. Under each seminar description is a list of questions for attendees to answer, for every seminar you watch and set of questions you complete, you will earn you 2 – 3 CPD points.


Q) Do I need to submit my journal after the event to gain the CPD points?

A) You do not need to send in your CPD journal following on from the event. Please complete your journal, calculate your points, award yourself the CPD points and file your journal in your CPD folder at home.


Q) Will I get a certificate of attendance following the event?

A) You will not get a certificate of attendance for the event or any seminars or webinars that you watch. Your Virtual Congress journal will act as your evidence of participation and CPD.
