CBD = Cannabidiol is a no psychoactive compound found in plants like hemp, echinacea, flax and common tea. It is a phytocannabinoid (plant compounds that appear within cannabis). For around 100 years now hemp has disappeared from the food chain, but it’s now back - in the form of CBD oils; people are seeing benefits from taking it, and there is much interest and public debate currently going on as we speak. This talk deals with what CBD is and potential benefits of taking it; the endocannabinoid system and the recent scientific research in this area.
