Meetings and events

Date: 24 June 2019
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Venue: Knowle West Healthy Living Centre, 2 Downton Road, Bristol, BS4 1WH
Topic: Wellbeing and Mental Health with Agata Palmer

At this meeting we will be discussing wellbeing and mental health, self care strategies, reducing stigma and how to find our bliss. We will be using mental health materials from NHS and partner agencies from my previous employment in mental health. For self help we will look at the NHS 5 ways to wellbeing model. We'll also look at the role of yoga asanas and yoga nidra and hypnotherapy in relaxation. Hopefully this will be a great introduction to then practice these different techniques in the future.

Date: 14 October 2019
Time: 7pm - 9pm
Venue: Knowle West Healthy Living Centre, 2 Downton Road, Bristol, BS4 1WH
Topic: Quantum Touch with Sharon Lawson

In Quantum Touch, an ill person who gets better is the healer, the practitioner just provides the energetic conditions for the body to heal, as a self-healing system, capable of maintaining homeostasis on a daily basis. But humans act as if they have never heard of balance or the benefits of it and put too much stress on our systems: we impose physical, emotional and mental stress on the body and then we are surprised when the body can't cope with it. Although a change of life-style can help a lot, many people feel powerless to change their circumstances, or negative habitual patterns. But it doesn't have to be difficult, painful or time-consuming when you use energy tools to accelerate the changes you want. The subconscious mind really runs your life AND your body. It's easier to change for the positive than most people realise. In her talk, Sharon will explain why and how we could use energy tools and provide a short demonstration which will illustrate why she is such a fan of Quantum Touch.
