Transcendental Meditation is a simple, natural, enjoyable and effortless meditation technique that has been shown by over 600 research studies to also be highly effective, and anyone can do it. In this talk, Marek Lorys, an experienced TM teacher, will explain what TM is, what it isn't, what it does, how it works, how it differs from other techniques, where it comes from and how you can learn it. Topic: An introduction to Ayurveda with Noel O’Neill

Noel O’Neill talks about the benefits of Ayurveda, his mission is to try to pass this information onto everyone so that they can make their own life choices. Ayurveda, meaning knowledge of life, is the worlds most ancient system of natural health care. Ayurveda is over 6000 years old and over time much of the knowledge of this system became fragmented but, more recently, leading Ayurvedic experts pooled their knowledge into a comprehensive body of knowledge called Maharishi Ayurveda - a prevention oriented, time tested and holistic natural health system.

Topic: Body Stress Release with Marie Stone

Room KBG1(downstairs). Marie says: “Both my husband Chris and I are BSR practitioners, living and practising in Hailsham, East Sussex. Chris was first to qualify, after seeing Peter Van Minnen, a BSR practitioner who’d been recommended to us. This was where our journey with Body Stress Release began. Seeing the positive improvements of Chris’ physical state after experiencing BSR with Peter impressed and inspired me. When Chris was away training in South Africa to be a BSR practitioner, I was experiencing severe neck spasms from overextending my neck with my photographic work. After seeing Peter, the BSR helped me too. What a relief to have full movement of my neck again! For many years now, I’ve been able to wake in the morning free from aches and pains…which feels incredible. I truly understand the value and potency of this incredible technique because of my personal healing process. That’s why, in 2008, I decided to retire from wedding and portrait photography and train as a Body Stress Release practitioner myself in South Africa. This beautiful, organic technique is the key to unlocking the overloaded, stresses of people today. It has a highly organised way of working with the body, accessing the root of the problems. Clients often use the word ‘bliss’ to describe how they feel in a session. BSR encourages the mind, body and soul to continually upgrade and grow. The more you have, the younger and more energised you can feel.”
