Topic: Stretching for Injury and Chronic Pain

Join industry leaders, Jing Advanced Massage Director, Meghan Mari and head teacher Teresa Gillingham in the exciting and dynamic workshop. Bring your clients back for more while saving your hands and energy with these excellent techniques. This hands on workshop will explore advanced stretching techniques to incorporate into your bodywork practice including PNF and active isolated stretching. You will learn both stretches for the table as well as self-help techniques to give to your clients.

Topic: A touch of gentleness

A Touch of Gentleness is a growing community of people who are committed to bring-ing ‘connection, touch and gentleness’ back to society. Volunteers are trained to give a beautiful hand massage whilst listening with deep gentleness. This service is then offered to the local community, care homes, hospices, organisations, the homeless and at events.

Topic: Maharish Marma Therapy

Maharishi Marma Therapy is a gentle massage therapy derived from Ayurveda. It re-connects the individual with their deepest Self. At the same time, it helps with specific physical conditions such as back, shoulder, neck or other joint pain, headaches, difficulty relaxing, sinusitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, emotional trauma and many other conditions. And it is profoundly relaxing and delightful! Marek Lorys is a qualified Maharishi Marma Therapist, has treated clients in the UK and US.

£7 members / £8 non-members / £6 students and retired (entry costs do not apply to virtual meetings).

Local Support Group meeting on the first Tuesday of the month (Not January/August).
We are lucky enough to have use of a fully equipped therapy teaching space on the ground floor at the East Sussex College.
Open to anyone with a genuine interest in Holistic Therapies.
