Who are we?
Established in 1962, the FHT is the UK and Ireland’s leading professional association for complementary, holistic beauty and sports therapists, representing more than 16,000 members a year.
The FHT's Accredited Register has been independently approved by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, as part of its Accredited Registers programme. The FHT's register is the largest register for complementary therapists accredited by the authority, as a part of a government-backed initiative. All registrants are qualified, insured and abide by the FHT Code of Conduct and Professional Practice.

"The FHT has been an amazing partner for Terrence Higgins Trust when it comes to recruiting complementary therapist volunteers for our service to improve the well-being of people who are living with HIV. We highly value the opportunity to advertise for our volunteer vacancies free of charge on the FHT website and are immensely grateful for getting connected to qualified, professional and insured complementary therapists through the FHT. Thank you very much for your invaluable support!"
