Annie is a qualified teacher and gained many years of experience in vocational therapy training. Her valuable experience in both teaching and the therapy education process has enabled Annie to develop our successful accredited programme.

Nicola has a wealth of administrative and customer service experience. She joined the FHT bringing these valuable skills, a passion for learning more about different therapies and a willingness to offer valuable support to training providers for their accredited courses.

Registrar and Compliance Manager

Julie has a wealth of experience within the insurance industry, from claims assessor to management. Julie has also worked as a lecturer in complementary therapies, and runs her own successful salon and school.

Kiah Myatt

Deputy Registrar and Compliance Officer

Kiah joined the FHT as a Marketing Executive in charge of education and events, where she developed an interest in education standards and compliance that has taken her to her current role.

After graduating with a degree in education studies, Heidi organised employability events for university students. Heidi enjoys relating her studies to her role, as well as helping members undertake further learning and their continuing professional development.

Jane has over 25 years' experience in banking and administration, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role.

Karen Young

Communications Manager and Editor

As well as working for International Therapist magazine, Karen has worn various other 'hats' at FHT over the years - from helping out in membership, to organising and running student make-up competitions. Karen has also trained in Swedish massage, Indian head massage and reflexology.

After graduating with a degree in business and a professional diploma in marketing, Jade worked in marketing roles for a government department, a charity and a marketing agency. Jade works to raise the profile of the FHT and to support the needs of members.

Alice has a first class degree in Retail Management and before joining the FHT has worked in events and operations. The different roles that Alice has held since graduating from university has provided her with fantastic customer care experience and she enjoys using her communication skills to develop new relationships for the FHT.

Bev previously worked in banking, gaining 23 years' of valuable experience in customer care. She joined the FHT to enjoy a more holistic working environment. She enjoys bringing her experience in customer care to the FHT, providing useful advice to members.
