All members of the FHT have to abide by the Code of Conduct and Professional Practice and are subject to disciplinary action following receipt of a complaint.

This page shows details of any on-going investigations and decisions made following a conduct hearing where sanctions or removal from the register have occurred. This information is displayed in order to allow prospective clients to make an informed decision about the complementary healthcare therapist they see.

How to raise a concern about an FHT member

Professional Conduct Procedure

Susp​ension

This section will detail any therapist whose registration has been suspended pending the investigation or final decision of a complaint. It will include the name, registration number and date of suspension. Once a suspension is lifted, the details will be removed unless they fall under the Decisions category where further information will be available.

Subjects to conditions of practice or Removal from the Register

This section will detail any therapist who following notification of a criminal conviction and/or a Professional Conduct Panel hearing (where appropriate); will either have been subject to conditions of practice or removed from the register. The details will include name, registration number, the date of condition of practice or removal and information on which part of the FHT Code of Conduct has been breached.
