Tina Reid started her career as a beauty therapist in 1985 and began her extensive training in complementary therapy in 1990.
She has enjoyed working in health farms, salons and clinics and in 1990 she started her career in education - initially at private and F.E. Colleges as a lecturer, but quickly gained recognition of excellent practise by becoming an assessor, verifier and External verifier. She has worked on academic boards, quality standards committees and many forums to ensure the standards and delivery of health, beauty and complementary therapies.
She set up Oxford Holistic Academy and Complementary Therapy Clinic in Oxford which specialises in treatments and courses designed to meet the needs of each individual.
In 2005 Tina was elected Vice-president of the FHT, a position she held until stepping down in 2010.
Tina firmly believes in affordable accessible education and is passionate about improving standards within all therapy curriculums. She actively encourages best practice at all times.
