FHT Ambassador Programme
During the COVID-19 outbreak, our Ambassador visits are cancelled until further notice however FHT Ambassador, Alison Brown has created a short video highlighting her top tips for students as an alternative. There is also a question and answer sheet alongside the video so you can quiz your learners in a short exercise. Please request both resources using this form.
Our Ambassadors Programme puts a trained and experienced FHT expert in your classroom to provide an informative talk to your students. The Ambassador will deliver an exciting presentation on a variety of topics including the benefits of belonging to a professional association like the FHT, the significance of insurance, and what could happen if insurance is not obtained, and they will also highlight the importance of following code of conduct and professional practice. Students will also learn of past experiences and hear real stories from our expert, allowing them to gain an insight into the industry they will be entering.
Students will gain 2 CPD points from attending an Ambassador’s talk and they will receive a certificate to add to their portfolio. For Beauty and Hairdressing students, the talk will count towards the business units on their course.
"The students loved hearing about Jon's journey into holistic therapies and also the real life examples he gave as to why we all need insurance." Jayne Catley, Tameside College
