Topic: Discussion on return to work guidelines
I have arranged a Zoom meeting for anyone who wants to discuss the new COVID-19 guidelines issued on Friday 19 June 2020 by the FHT as well as sharing how therapists are planning to reopen and the new work practices that are being put in place.
As the group is in Wales, the requirements of the Welsh Government regulations will be taken into account. However, quite a lot of the preparatory work and new work practices will apply across the UK. Anyone who wants to join the meeting is more than welcome. Here is the information for you to join the Zoom meeting this evening: meeting ID 825 1515 9263 and password 509462.

Topic: The brain and gut connection with Peta Pendlebury
Tonight Peta Pendlebury will explain more about the brain – gut connection and how stress and anxiety can affect both in negative ways. We will also discover what other health conditions apart from the usual digestive disorders can be caused by this connection being out of balance which over time can lead to serious health issues. Peta will also explain how a bad gut affects our mood and messes up our body and brain balance – as well as our brain messing up our gut! Be prepared to learn about our amazing gut and how it influences many aspects of our life. And also how those pesky thoughts you have can change how your body responds – without you even being aware of it. You will develop a better understanding about what it really means when clients suffer from digestive problems, anxiety and depression. Peta has been an advanced kinesiologist since 1999 and has worked with thousands of clients to improve both their gut and their mental health.
