During UK lock down the number of Zoom users increased by 2000%, rising from 659,000 users in January 2020 to 13 million by April. In a recent chat Magnus Falk, CIO of Zoom, told Claire he has been amazed by the innovative ways people are embracing online opportunities. Claire has helped various businesses to translate their business offer into a sustainable online business model to provide the security and stability necessary in such uncertain times, she even runs innovative online health and well-being festivals to help bridge the gap and connect practitioners with clients from around the world. Join us for an interactive session to explore how you might embrace the new online trend to build your business.

Topic: Alexander Technique with Jane Clappison
Jane Clappison is an Alexander Technique teacher who works in Pocklington, East Yorkshire. Jane has a 30 year background as an NHS Physiotherapist specialising in working with people who have persistent pain and is also a CranioSacral Therapist, Acupuncturist, Aromatherapist and Reiki practitioner. Jane now solely focuses on the Alexander Technique. Jane has been involved in Alexander Technique research around balance and also carers of people who have Alzheimer's and delivers workshops for the York Alexander Teaching Centre from time to time. Today's session will introduce you to the Alexander Technique and one of it's fundamental principles. You will need a paperback book (that you don't mind dropping), a pen and a piece of paper.

Please come along to York's first FHT local group meeting. This time will be used as a safe place for therapists to network and also brainstorm ideas for what members want their local group to look like. Meet other like-minded professionals and put your suggestions forward for what sessions you would like for CPD in 2020.
