INFORMATION

We meet four times a year, on a Monday evening and are based in Petts Wood. A great opportunity for networking, getting to know other therapists in the area, and exchanging knowledge and skills in a friendly, relaxed environment.

I currently practice as a Homeopath and Reflexologist, but I have qualifications in various complementary therapies and am able to bring these into my practice in the treatment I offer people.
I take an anthroposophical approach to medicine which recognises and treats the spiritual person as well as the physical.

This group is for people who are passionate about healing and are looking to meet like-minded people where we can pool our knowledge and learn off each other in a stimulating and supportive environment.

MEETINGS AND EVENTS

Topic: What is Soul Midwifery and how can we use it?
This is an interactive workshop where you will have the opportunity to learn some wonderful skills to bring to those in pain and sickness. Soul Midwife, Sally Baker, will teach us the benefits of sacred oils for healing. Alongside creative visualisation, we will learn gentle and soothing massage techniques to help calm and comfort. After working for many years in hospices, Sally will share her experiences on how to create a special space where a person can feel seen, heard, safe and loved. These skills can be taken home and used immediately by therapists and non-therapists alike.

Date: Monday 31st March

Location: Community Room, Orpington Fire Station, Avalon Road, BR6 9AY

Time: 7 - 9pm

Upcoming meetings:

Monday 7th July, 7-9pm

What are "Aromasticks" and how can we use them?
In this interactive workshop we will be learning about essential oils with Aromatherapist, Michelle Savin-Jones who will spotlight the uses, benefits and precautions of a number of well-known and lesser known essential oils. Michelle will also explain what to look out for when purchasing essential oils to ensure you are getting a good quality oil, and look at correct storage to prolong shelf life. Then we will be able to create our own blend of oils and make out own aromastick inhaler to take home.
