INFORMATION
Welcome to the Wigan, Leigh, Rainford and St Helens local group. The group provides opportunity to hear talks, see demonstrations on a wide range of topics by fellow therapists and knowledgeable people and professional speakers. A great evening and chance to network and swap ideas. Our meetings are open to everyone, FHT Members, non-members, general public other therapists, Complementary Practitioners and students. Come along and meet other like minded people.
I believe our network provides invaluable support for therapists who often work in isolation. The group meetings gives all therapists local to me the opportunity to network, share concerns and successes, and attend interesting talks, it’s also an important way of acquiring CPD points. In order to gain CPD points we must have a learning element, so can we ask that you think of your treatments, what you enjoy doing, what you feel works for your clients, can you show and demonstrate this to your group. We can all learn a great deal from each other.
Whether you are a therapist or someone who is perhaps considering having a therapy but not sure what or how to look for a reputable therapist. This meeting is open to everyone, so bring a friend, family member or work colleague.
We will also touch on the benefits of being a member of the FHT if you are considering professional membership for your chosen therapy.

Topic: Bowen technique demystified.
Christine Mallalieu, is a wife, mother and grandmother. She has a clinic room in MAWDESLEY and also work from home in Shevington. Her initiation into holistic therapies began in 2001 with Reiki and has led her on a voyage of discovery ever since. She is a Reiki Master/teacher, Reflexologist, Bowen therapist, Massage therapist, Tibetan acupressure head massage, Life coach, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psych-K practitioner. She has been a Bowen therapist since 2002 and the therapy never ceases to amaze her with its outcomes
