Acupressure is similar to acupuncture but does not use needles. Therapists use fingers, thumbs or knuckles to stimulate specific points or “acupoints” along the body. Seated acupressure is commonly used for staff in corporate organisations, as it can be done quickly and effectively. You can also remain fully clothed for this treatment. As with all treatments, a full consultation should be completed with your therapist to ensure that acupressure is right for you.
